Mardi Gras

My family and I were lucky enough to get to visit Mobile, Alabama and the surrounding area this past weekend for the Mardi Gras festivities.  I got a few really great shots that I thought I would share.
Does she look like trouble or what?!?!

I saw this beautiful green floor and couldn't pass up an opportunity to get at least 1 shot.

Kevin actually shot this one.  I think he enjoyed looking at the motorcycles more than the parades!

We stayed in a home with a beautiful spiral staircase.

She looked at the perfect moment...now if I can just get her to smile on cue...

Kev gets credit again for snapping a great shot...I did have to do a little editing, though... :)

This little guy was our host for the weekend.  He was in the pond almost every time we went outside.

Family photos with friends

My family and I spent part of a Sunday afternoon shooting and hanging out with some friends of ours a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few of my favorite shots from that day:

Traffic must have cleared out on the server...here are the paintings I promised.

I needed something blue and brown...and oriental...this is what I came up with.

Pink shoes...I really don't care too much for this one, but my husband and I did this together...I need to add his soon so you can see the distinct differences between the two...ha ha ha

Of all the paintings for which I get requests to duplicate, this is the #1

These paintings (for Kimber and Angel, obviously) have their names written in pink glitter...it doesn't show up in the pictures very well.

One of my absolute favorites...of course, I am partial to the calla

New Paintings

Well, I don't know if it's my computer or the blog, but I couldn't get any images to upload just now.  I'll try again shortly.  I hope you all had a great day today!
